Griffith University is a public research university located in the Queensland, on the east coast of Australia. It was founded in 1971 and was named after Sir Samuel Walker Griffith who was an Australian politician, Premier of Queensland and Australia’s High Court Chief Justice. The first teaching sessions were started in 1975 in environmental science and Asian studies with 451 students.
It is a verdant university and is also a member of the Innovative Research Universities (IRU). For being a research-intensive university, it is ranked in the top 3% of universities worldwide.
